The partnership will make blue roof installations easier and faster, which also lets Proteus create custom design packages that fit each project’s needs. The team at Proteus conducts thorough initial site inspections—both in-person and through drone technology—to enhance accuracy during the design and installation stages, and it’s this meticulous approach that helps to minimize mistakes and reduce the need for reworks. Key services included in Proteus’s blue roof design package feature precise U-Value calculations, condensation risk analysis, fire risk compliance assessments, wind uplift evaluations, and drainage calculations.

Successful partnerships hinge on trust, which plays a significant role in preventing the common pitfalls that lead to a high failure rate in professional collaborations. According to McKinsey, over 60% of partnerships face difficulties, often due to poor trust and communication (38%). On August 8, MFM Building Products, a manufacturer of a full envelope of waterproofing and weather barrier products for the building industry based in Coshocton, Ohio, broke ground on a new warehouse expansion project, which will lead to further expansion in 2025. The 33,000 square foot expansion is being constructed at the company’s Brewer Lane warehouse, also located in Coshocton. The new building will adjoin the existing facility that currently houses MFM finished goods. The new space will provide the needed inventory space for raw materials as the company continues to grow. The expansion will also free up space in the company’s manufacturing facility for the addition of several new production lines in Q3 of 2025.

Deerfield Beach, FL – October 10, 2024 – Polyglass U.S.A., Inc., a leading manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing systems, announced the successful completion of a major expansion at its Waco, Texas manufacturing facility. With a significant investment of $31 million, the project enhances production capacity, creates new jobs, and strengthens the company’s presence in the region.

Major Investment Boosts Production Capacity
The expansion includes a new production line, a 100k square foot warehouse addition, and various site improvements. This strategic investment will allow Polyglass to meet growing customer demand, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the economic growth of Waco.

Teamwork Drives Expansion Project
The project was a collaborative effort between Polyglass, Corporate Contractors, Inc., and Zenith Roofing & Waterproofing. Despite the challenges of working within a limited space while maintaining ongoing manufacturing and shipping operations, the teams worked seamlessly together to bring the project to completion.

Rick Wyatt, Plant Manager, shared his thoughts on the project, saying, “The Waco Expansion project was a very challenging and rewarding experience. Balancing new construction, installing a new production line, and maintaining ongoing operations required daily coordination between CCI, Zenith, our Engineering Team, and the Waco Operations Team. I commend each team for their flexibility and understanding throughout the project. We’re extremely excited about the expansion upgrades and the bright future ahead for Polyglass.”

Durable, Reflective, and Protective: Polyglass Roofing Systems
The new facility features a state-of-the-art roofing system, including a three-ply assembly of Elastoflex SA V base and a Polyfresko® G cap sheet. The existing rooftop was also updated with DensDeck® Roof Board, and Elastoflex SA V base, and a Polyflex® G cap sheet.

These systems provide exceptional durability, reflectivity, and protection for the building, and demonstrate Polyglass’ commitment to providing innovative and high-performance products in a wide range of scenarios.

As Blaine Sibby, VP of Sales and Estimating at Zenith Roofing & Waterproofing, noted: “These systems are reliable, easy to install, and a standard choice for our projects.”
