Siplast Opens Research Facility

Siplast, a Standard Industries company, has opened a state-of-the-art research and educational facility in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The company’s RISE Center — Research, Innovate, Support, and Evolve — specializes in testing its premium roofing and waterproofing products under simulated storm conditions. The 12,500-square-foot facility features best-in-class capabilities and equipment, including an advanced wind pressure testing unit with a 10,000-pound. hoist and a 2-inch/4-inch high-velocity hail cannon. IKO To Open Facility In Missouri

IKO, a global leader in the manufacturing and supply of residential shingles, commercial roofing, and waterproofing products, is proud to announce plans to open a new granule facility for its subsidiary, Bismarck Granules, in Bismarck, Missouri. The company is investing more than $120 million in the new facility. It will directly supply granules to IKO’s shingle plants across the U.S. The company plans to establish a quarry nearby to support the operation. Bismarck Granules is partnering with New Frontier Materials to secure feedstock to be used as input to the process. Engineering firm Penta is also collaborating with the company on the project. Construction is underway, with plans to open in 2026.

Tremco Rising Stars Program Achieves Nonprofit Status

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), a global construction products manufacturer, announced that its Tremco Rising Stars Program has officially transitioned to 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
